An app is what a field worker actually opens on their phone. It bundles one or more of your published forms into screens, and is assigned to specific users or teams.
Building a form (see Build your first form) doesn't make it available on anyone's device by itself — it needs to be added to an app's screen and that app assigned to the worker before it shows up for them.
